PHENOMENAL service and PHENOMENAL breakfast. Nicole was an absolute hit and so full of lively positive energy — we loved her and our meal here. The entire staff was incredibly kind and even gave us extra croissants on the house! Portion sizes were diabolically large and filled us up for a day of trekking around the city. Such a wonderful and memorable experience!

Absolutely loved our visit to Ala Grande Café! The pistachio croissant was a real standout – beautifully flaky with a rich, nutty filling that hit the spot. We also tried the omelet sandwich, which was surprisingly filling and packed with flavour – perfect for a hearty breakfast or brunch.
What really made the experience memorable was the service. Our waitress was incredibly friendly and welcoming. She went out of her way to accommodate our dietary preferences (vegetarian/halal), making sure everything was just right. To top it off, she even threw in a few phrases in Urdu, which was such a sweet and personal touch 😅 Clearly very experienced and genuinely passionate about hospitality – she made our visit so enjoyable. The owner even gave us some complementary deserts to take with us. Couldn’t have asked for a better experience.

Amazing place! It has original italian food that is simply delicious. The plates are big, we shared one dish with my husband. The staff is incredibly friendly. They gave us free coffee as we waited 5 minutes for a table.

CROISSANTS were the show stopper loved the pistachio, chocolate n custard filled loaded with filling , very flaky n buttery everything u can think of a delicious croissant, MUST HAVE. Their portions r big . We were greeted with espresso shots twice its on house the best part ;) . We went there 10 mins prior before opening in order to get seated as they gets really busy if u want to avoid long queue n wait time as not to mention THEIR FOOD IS OUTSTANDING & AESTHETICALLY PRESENTED!!!!! Amazing food and coffee! There was a short queue to be seated but we waited less than 5 mins. Our waitress was kind friendly and funny, her English was perfect and she was able to advise us on dishes and drinks. The coffee was great and very strong and food was delicious. They gave us a pistachio croissant as a gift which was a nice touch too. We would highly recommend and would definitely return.

A great breakfast spot in Florence! I was welcomed with an espresso while waiting just five minutes in line, and enjoyed a second one at the table. The omelette with gherkins and arugula was delicious, and the legendary pistachio croissant lived up to the hype — I even got an extra one with cream as a gift! A generous place with warm, attentive service. Highly recommended!

The breakfast was delicious: great coffee and a pistachio-filled croissant you simply must try. The staff at the counter were just as wonderful.
If you’re in Florence, this spot is a must for breakfast. It’s the kind of place that not only feeds you, but makes you feel right at home in the city. We’ll definitely be back!

I love this breakfast place 🥹 the owner/waiter who served us was very friendly and gave us a free croissant 🥐 too. I highly recommend this place. It was a respite from the usual Italian F&B service which can be unforgiving 👀 this place warmed the cockles of my heart

Lovely, lovely place! When they brought out free coffee as gifts for people waiting in line outside, we knew we were in for a great time. And on top of that, everything we ordered inside was delicious (especially the pistachio croissant). Can't recommend it enough!

We were lucky to get seated quickly as the place was packed. We were brought two shots of espresso as soon as we sat down. My husband ordered the Tony Omelet, and I ordered a plain croissant. We also ordered a large pistachio mocha + and a cappuccino. Wow!! The food and service was amazing. The flavours in the omelet were so fresh, my husband said it was the best he’s ever had. The owner came over with a pistachio croissant for me, on the house, and apologize for not being able to serve us yesterday. I was blown away. I find 90% of the people working in Firenze to be cold + off putting, and yes, I speak Italian. All of the staff are very friendly and welcoming. I now wish we didn’t waste our first 3 mornings in Firenze at different establishments. Highly recommend.- Cibo

Viral cafe, worth the hype! Wonderful staff, great breakfast. We ordered a pistachio croissant, not knowing we got a complimentary one as well, so ended up taking it with us, as we couldn't finish both. The portions are healthy, and everything was so yummy. Thank you!

The best cream croissant I ever had. Absolutely perfect!! Thank you for the friendly and always smiling staff! They are very nice and even gave us coffee while we waited in the queue for a table. The service is perfect and quick so you won’t wait long even if they are busy! Just go for it! Can’t recommend enough !

Best breakfast in town without a doubt. Lovely food, treats all the time, incredible staff and service. Nicole and chef were so nice and kind. After first visit we went there again because of them. You can try all kind of food for breakfast in there, a lot of things are delicious.
